Im taking the Business strategy with Sherman this semester too. I finished all of the quizzes so I guess i will start working on the case study. It looks like I should finished the remaining degree requirements by the end of Feb. So after that it looks like I will be just waiting until the Excelsior Business Strategy course is over on 05/07. Does anyone know based on this which conferral date I would be allowed to attend?

Well, I got my Business Strategy project in on time, but I confess I didn't put in the time on it that I should have. I scored an 18/30. My score for the chapter quizzes was 50/50, and I don't have a grade for the discussion portion yet -- I didn't put in as much effort there as I should have either. If I get at least two or three points out of twenty, that gives me 70 points and I hope that's enough to squeak by with a C. If I end up flaming out, I have nobody to blame but myself. Stay tuned!

I half-assed that final project also. Started writing it on the last day it was due, and turned it in that same night two hours before it was due. I made a B for the class.

Just got my Business Strategy grade from Excelsior -- I got a B! That means cum laude Bachelor of Science in less than six months! (99% of it in two months!)
I'm going out to celebrate. Thanks to everyone for your good wishes!

gcalvin Wrote:I took the Penn Foster Managerial Accounting final this morning. Judy is right. This is a tough exam. There was a three-question Part A, and a ten-question Part B. The Part A questions were worth 20 points each. I got bogged down and spent way too much time on the first question, which in retrospect was quite simple. I managed to recover and wrote what I believe to be solid answers to all three questions in Part A. The Part B questions were worth four points each, and I answered six of them. I'm pretty confident in my answers, so I think I may have scored as much as 84 points overall. 70 is passing. I think I'd give about 2 to 1 odds that I passed, and even money that I scored a B (80 or over). It's going to take about three weeks to get my scores, so meanwhile it's time to finish up my Business Strategy case study project.

What is the ISBN # for the book on that managerial accounting course you completed at Penn Foster?
Also, in regards to Financial Management, what was the ISBN for anybody who took that course at Penn Foster?
