I graduated with my bba from umpi and would like my masters to be in accounting rather than getting a general MBA.
I dont mind exams but don't want any proctoring which is why I had to cross wgu from my list.
So far only amberton and emporia univ. Are all I see for my price range. I haven't looked into emporia as to if they have proctoring or not. However, some people in the umpi discord mentioned amberton not having proctors for their exams and they graduated from there. Anyone know of any other programs?

That's a tough one. WGU is like the best deal on an MAcc there is at $5K, if you can finish in one term (which is doable as I have done it as well). No proctoring, online, AND under $10K really limits your choices. That means that you are looking for a graduate school whose tuition is less than $300 per credit hour, which is a very short list. Are you military/veteran or a spouse/dependent of a military member? That would open up your choices greatly. Otherwise, you are going to have to up your price to $15-20K to get a program that meets your needs.

You may want to review the MOOC's from Coursera, EdX, and comparable options that are offered by institutions mentioned in this thread for Masters/MBA's:

Its sticker price is $14,075. Certainly not a bad price for an AACSB-accredited master in accounting, but a fair bit more than OP said they wanted to spend.

It is true that Amberton does not have proctoring anymore. I spoke to one of their recruiters a month ago because I'm interested in their graduate certificate in forensic accounting. They offer an MBA with a concentration in accounting for $11,700 (before fees).
MBA - Liberty
BA - UNM
AA - NMMI
