That is a thing, it all depends on the institution taking in the credits though, there isn't a specific "hit" right now except for the ASU freebie and the VESI, plus other ACE or NCCRS options that you can investigate. I think there have been a few threads in regards to this already, just need to 'find' them...

For Masters credits, the only thing I've seen is that PUG, WGU, and others do offer credit for some certain IT certifications -- usually higher-level certs like CISSP, CySA+, PMP, etc. But in many-to-most cases, doing the class is probably easier than getting the certification. With Sophia, Study.com, and the like, the highest I've seen is 300-level credits, and even that's pretty rare.

LawShelf and Coopersmith. So far, it appears that only Purdue Global will accept LawShelf courses at the graduate level. Excelsior has been unclear. I don't know if any school will accept Coopersmith at the graduate level, but Purdue Global is probably the best bet.

Another option is, if you're looking at a Masters degree and you have knowledge in that field, do a Masters at UMPI for example, if you can complete the 9 courses in that 1 term for $2150, that's an entire degree, not just a certificate or grad credits of up to 18 credits or so, that actually gets you up to 30 graded grad credits.

99% of grad programs do not take ACE or similar credits. Most grad programs barely let you transfer credits due to the lower credit number and specialty courses to begin with.

Hacking a grad degree isn't the same as undergrad....

That's true, and that's the main reason I mentioned my option in post #5, it may be better ROI/Value doing a graduate certificate, diploma, or degree using the CBE options such as the MAOL from UMPI or whatever else there is. Some more recognized or better known institutions cost much more than $2K per course... you're getting an entire credential for that price if one can finish fast enough.

Sophia doesn't have grad courses. I was never able to find any ACE grad level credits when I searched a few months ago. Even if there were, finding a college to accept them would be challenging. Many colleges don't accept transfer credit in grad programs.

Grad tuition is $2200 per term. I've only seen 2 people complete the MAOL in 1 term. No one should expect to complete it in 1 term as it's extremely rare and no designed to be completed that quickly.

The only grad-level ACE courses I have found were from statistics.com

On a side note, I did find free graduate-level Introduction to Internet of Things courses through Stanford online, but they dont offer any certificate of completion:
