I hate the new name.
1. The executive master's doesn't even include nonprofit courses. Public administration is a more accurate representation of the degree.
2. MPA is a well-known degree title, and it's always been understood that public administration applies to the government and nonprofit organizations. Niche degree titles make it harder for employers to find you or to determine whether you have the education they're looking for.
3. The new degree name is unnecessarily long, especially for an 18-credit degree.
It wasn't replaced. They changed the name to the regular master's program, so they changed the name of the executive master's to match. The curriculum is the same. It's a stupid name change, in my opinion.

In it's place they DO have an 18 hour executive MA in Nonprofit Management. It looks like the courses are about 90 percent the same...
