As ya'll might have noticed, there is a managerial or business communications credit requirement on Thomas Edison's credit breakout list for an accounting degree(maybe for all business degrees). Does anybody know a Clep or Dantes that fufilles this requirement? If so, how hard is it to pass? Thanks

The closest CLEP/DSST would be DSST Technical Writing. But take a look at
ECE Workplace Communication With Computers (BUSX-220 at Excelsior), released just last month. $95. Excelsior: "The content of the examination corresponds with course offerings such as Business Communications, Workplace Communications, Introduction to Communication Technology for Business, and Managerial Communications." Its official text is

Straighterline offers a Business Communication course that will meet this cours' requirements.
If you want a GPA attached to your degree and your transferring or CLEPing out of everything else, this isn't a bad "GPA course" (or if you want to boost your GPA). If you're already taking your accounting classes there, it would be cheaper to get the class somewhere else via SL or the ECE. For me, this is the only course I'm taking at TESC and isn't that hard. If you get a good professor (like Dr. James Young) then it gets even better and making a 4.0 in the class isn't terrible hard.

I'd straighterline this one. If you sign up for a free trial with SL...let it lapse....a few days later SL will send you a coupon code to waive the course fee, so it knocks $39 off the cost all you pay is the $99/month. Have the books in hand, maybe even get started/familiar with the work and you should easily have this knocked out in 28 days or less. $33/credit is insane cheap!

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.
