I have successfully enroll in the UMPI MIS, however it will start on the end of October. Can I take the courses in Study or Sophia before the begin of this semester to graduate as quick as possible because it is urgent for me to get the transcript.

What have you already completed? You'll need permission to bring in anything more once you've enrolled. It shouldn't be a problem, but you need a good plan if you want maximum efficiency.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

@zoey_ , That's exactly right. We don't have any details as what you have taken and what is remaining. As mentioned, you should take them before starting at UMPI. I would start with Sophia.org and skip the Study.com until Sophia.org is completed, it's a waste of energy, money, time trying to do both. Sophia.org > Study.com > UMPI

I have finished all the enrollment procedure. Jessica told me since I had a bachelor's degree before, all the GEC will be waived. I just worry about if I take the courses before the semester, would they refuse the credit and tell me I should study them after the formal begin of the semester.

@zoey_, you need to take at least 10 courses at UMPI, you can transfer the rest into UMPI with Sophia.org and Study.com, so I repeat what I typed. You might want to post your academic evaluation and what is left to take as a PDF attachment. Again, Take Sophia.org > Study.com > UMPI

For Sophia and Study.com, you need permission now. If you do not get permission first, they might refuse the credit and tell you to take their courses instead.
As bjcheung77 already said, you must take at least 10 classes from UMPI in order to graduate.

Don't overthink the 'permission' process. I transferred several courses after being enrolled and had zero issues. There tends to be a lot of pressure on how 'all' of your outside credits need to be transferred in first; that just was not my sister's and my experience at all. Share with Jessica the courses you plan on transferring in via email to have documentation and all should work out just fine. Yes, there could be a change of UMPI acceptance of courses; however, if you have exchanged emails on it, you are more likely to get it accepted vs. not being enrolled and trying to finish outside credits before enrolling and UMPI changes a transfer course approval.

You're enrolled so you need to ask Jessica for permission to transfer in additional courses. You also must complete a minimum of 10 courses - 30 credits - at UMPI.

Agree with kSoul... I signed up and have taken courses at study and IC. the after permission part was sending an email and saying " I completed these courses, before my Oct. start date... where do they land on my degree path?"
Of course I lost track and now need to find a 10th class for my UMPI degree to complete the requirements... but that shouldn't be hard.

It's a little easier for you because you weren't actively taking classes yet so there's more flexibility. Once you are actively taking classes, you do ned permission from your academic advisor to transfer in additional classes. It has been easy so far, but this is something that could always change. It could also be less flexible as YourPace continues to grow and when additional academic advisors join. Jessica won't be able to be the only advisor forever definitely not with the way YourPace is growing.
