Planning for BA at UMPI, AND BEYOND!

Thread Update

I ended up with 60 credit hours from Sophia, and UMPI accepted all, and accepted and gave me credit for all 66 from my Prior Comm College. that gave me 126 credits accepted (of course only 90 applied toward a degree). All GEC except the FL was covered (had not passed spanish with Sophia, have now completed Spanish 1 at UMPI on brightspace, personally I felt it was easier than Sophia's then again I went in with some of Sophia's knowledge so)

Currently in week two of first term with UMPI, and have completed 4 compenctices, and should be able to complete two more by Monday the 6th.

To those that saw (and replied) to my personal enrichment post, I have not made up my mind of rather to pursue a second bachelor's (though heavily leaning toward it) or what it would be if I choose to do so or head on into the masters yourpace program.

I wanted to take the moment to thank everyone on this forum, for Asking questions, Answering Questions, Sharing your thoughts, advice, and experiences, and helping me even when you did not know you were helping me.

Thank you all. I will continue to post updates for major events / milestones in my academic journey.

do you know what UMPI YouPace is substituting for HTY 315: Greece, Rome, and the Early Church in the BA HIS/POL degree?

I no longer see this as an option; although it still appears listed as a requirement for the HIS concentration

There is HTY 489, which is History of Infectious Disease. It's quick and easy but not the glory of Greece/ Rome. I have repeatedly mentioned to them that the course listing is inaccurate but w/e. I finished, so it's sort of irrelevant but it sucks there isn't an ancient history course. Medieval Europe has a little bit about Rome and it is the longest history class I took by FAR.

It was never a requirement, though, just a UL offering in HTY.

HTY315 was never a requirement and it's never been offered in YourPace. The on campus professor is retired and will not add it to YourPace based on conversations students have had with him.
