Hi Everybody,
I am getting a degree plan together for a BS in Business with a concentration in logistics. I have searched CLEP, DSST, Straighterline, Study.com, Saylor, Sophia, Penn Foster, Coppersmith, and Davar Academy. I haven't found many specific logistics courses except Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, and Project Management. I am specifically looking for these courses:
Transportation, Warehousing, and Distribution
Lean Logistics
Procurement and Purchasing
Inventory Management
Product, Planning, Process, and Quality Control
Project Management
If anyone knows of other sites I can check for these courses or has further info. on a business degree from Excelsior, I'd appreciate it!!

CSU-global has some exams, but they are ops management rather than logistics.
That's one of those degrees where you're probably better off just taking the courses from EC directly. Or look at taking them at another school where courses are cheaper (AMU/APU has courses in that). Or even go somewhere else where you can transfer in 90cr via alternative methods, that has the degree you want at a better price.
Right now, if you were to enroll at EC, and if you were starting from scratch, it would cost $7k to get a degree in something where every single course could be brought in except the Capstone; this includes 39 courses at $100 each, and all fees. If you had to add 2-3 courses at $510/cr, you'd be adding $1500-$3000 to the degree.

Two of my sons took the logistics certificate (supply chain management) through Davidson County Community College (online). These courses would be lower level, but they have a nice selection. If you're in NC, the tuition is great - out of state is a little steep.

Thanks for the feedback! Will check out AMU.
TESU is not an option because of the 25 age minimum. If I understand correctly, Charter Oak’s fees, incl. the 2 required courses, come out at $2,946 versus $2,390 for Excelsior. That is incl. 3 UEXCEL courses & the capstone which would save me the enrollment fee.

This is just what I was looking for! I’m not in NC, but the tuition is less than taking the courses through Excelsior. Thanks for the help!

Some people have been experimenting with taking classes via Defense Acquisition University. There seem to be some logistics and other related classes there. There is an approval process, but I am a teacher and wrote that these classes would help me to become a better teacher and help students from military families. They approved me.
Northcentral Technical College has some of these kinds of courses within its virtual college:

I have always been interested to see how TESU or any of the Big Three would approach one of the micromasters programs. The MITx Supply Chain Management micromasters has an excellent reputation and it might be interesting to see if TESU would give you anything for doing some of these classes.

Dine College has MGT 430 Quality Management online via Blackboard for fall semester and maybe it is $55 per credit hour.

The age 21 minimum at TESU is easy to get around if you're at least 18. I enrolled at 19.

ASNSM Mathematics, Thomas Edison State University, March 2020

Sophia and study.com offer project management. Sophia is LL but Study.com is UL.

https://www.dinecollege.edu/wp-content/u...une-11.pdf I really appreciate all the info.! Do you think it would be worth applying for approval from the Defense Acquisition University as a college student?
Micromasters looks great! I will have to see if their courses transfer. I also wondered if completing their program alone would look just as good to employers as getting a bachelors...
Thanks again for the help!!

Thanks, good to know! Thanks for correcting the age minimum. 21 is better than 25.

I see from one of your prior threads you got a associates from TESU. Why not continue with a bachelors from there, if the year hasn't passed yet you can still get a bachelor and associates on the same residency cycle.

I got my ASBA from TESU last year. My younger brother is mapping out a degree plan for a BS in logistics. The closest TESU comes to a logistics degree is a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Operations Management. We weren’t sure if Operations Management was interchangeable with Logistics Management. So he is leaning towards Excelsior’s BS in Business with a concentration in Logistics Management.
