I am looking for some advice on a degree and an easier path through UMPI. I am not sure i will need or want a master degree so not sure how this path affects that. Please see my below
Your Location: New York, United States.
Your Age: 45
What kind of degree do you want?: Looking at either Management and leadership or LS with a management minor. Years of operations and management experience. Looking to break the paper ceiling.
Current Regional Accredited Credits: Break apart by school for ease of reading. Regional means the school has a regional accrediation. If you don't have any, that's okay leave it blank!
SUNY Delhi Total Credits: 12
Math 095 Elementary algebra
CSCI 140 Networks, 3, B
CISY 110 Intro to computer processing 3 B+
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: These are things like Study, Sophia, InstantCert InstantCredit, CLEP, Straighterline, Davar etc
Sophia Credits: 9
Business Communications 3 92
Macroeconomics 3 83
Microeconomics 3 84
Currently taking principals of management 3 credits trending 85
Was looking at University of the people before finding all this information on UMPI
I do not even know if these will transfer to UMPI
I am looking to build a degree plan and start and start making smart decisions to get 90 credits. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

@joec2534, Welcome to the board, that's a short intro post without much information as you copy/pasted the template but missed the big bold point in red advising to fill in the addendum as well. It's a good start to get the ball rolling to that 90 credits, but without the bigger picture of your budget, commitments, study habits, it's going to be hard to advise you anything else but to continue on with Sophia.org to get to that 90 credits... I also suggest reviewing the WIKI plans for UMPI, I suggest the quicker BLS with a minor or two, plus the 3-4 classes that can get 3 classes exempt from the MAOL.

Hey All,
I totally missed the part of the intro and the addendum. Previously i was a regional operations manager with a team of 9 managers and 120 sales reps under them. To improve my skill sets i moved into a business development sales role. I have am looking to do this as affordable as possible I probably have right now about 15 hours a week to spend on school work. Usually hammer it out a couple of nights a week and Saturday morning. I am looking to finish as quick as possible but that might be hard with my limited availability right now. I would also stay so i am not the best at studying. Retention is good and I do learn quickly but reading for a test I am probably not the best. I am doing well in Sofia though so that helps. The open book tests are ideal lol.

Basically, you've got the experience, you just need the 'check the box' degree, as I mentioned in an earlier post - I suggest the UMPI BLS with a minor or two, plus take the 3-4 classes that will go towards the MAOL. Here's the WIKI for the UMPI degrees link and you may want to decide if you want to work on the 3-4 classes that can go towards the MAOL, that's if you want to go for a Masters down the road. I have been working on classes and then realized i never took the time to map it out. I thank the person who built this spread sheet. I need some help reviewing for the gen ed credits to make sure I am close or on point with the plan. Also my question for the electives is does UMPI just take anything for those classes?
Below is a link to my spread sheet. I appreciate any assistance.

Your spreadsheet looks fantastic imo, great start. Bio on sdc os broken down into small bits that are easier to digest with quizzes after each section, imo their course is nicely structured, just my $0.02
A thing to note is that you can bring in more upper level courses into umpi, depending on how fast you want to move once you're enrolled, and your goals.

Only thing I would do different right now is to focus on Sophia.org and skip the Study.com as you can get the science and lab at Sophia.org already, there is no need to switch providers to Study.com just to get the lab credit.

Yes, I agree with getting the upper level and all 30 credits necessary for degree at UMPI

Now you do! You can skip the Study.com option as you also need to subscribe to Labster for any of the labs on Study.com (an additional cost)... For Sophia.org, that extra cost is already included within the subscription (I recall, I haven't taken a lab at Sophia.org yet...), the cost for labster is $79/month, so you're pretty much getting Sophia.org free if you get the $99/month unlimited classes and get a $20 discount for the first month subscription!
