Hey, at least they print one for us. Apparently graduates had to commission their own diploma and pay extra to get those signatures at one time.

That was a fascinating article!

I learned today that at one point, med students needed to bring their own cadaver for anatomy lab. College was apparently harder then. lol

I agree both TESU and Excelsior Colege degrees are not wall worthy especially without the major printed on it.

The Highline College (formally Highline Community College) diploma kicks ass and it's only an undergraduate certificate in my case.  The best-looking one that I have.  It looks and feels expensive and they print the major on it. Big Grin

Should we start a thread to try to figure our which school gives out the best looking degree? A degree that not only confers the knowledge earned by the student, but a true work of art?

Some schools don't even send a padded diploma case. That's cheap. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...ot-excited

If you frame yours, it's suggested to have glass with UV coating, or frame a copy. Use plexiglass if you are in an earthquake zone. Also Michael's seems to have good rates. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...e-Question

Mine has my major (business administration) on it. Not sure why they do it for some but not others.

It lists the full name of the degree so you have a BSBA vs a BS.  I can live happily with the "Bachelor of Science in Business Administration", especially since my concentration is GM. I suppose if I had opted for a different concentration it might bother me some; if I was an accountant - I'd probably want Accounting to appear on it.

It looks like... a degree. Nothing at all wrong with it. That's pretty much what they all look like.

That said, I don't think a deal should be made of it just for the deal itself, but the fact that the schools charge so damn much for it. That's where the displeasure should be.

Agreed.

I'm more interested in what the diploma represents, not in how many unnecessary stylistic embellishments are involved.
