Cheapest. Would love competency based to go as fast or as slow as I want, but not a biggie. All online, ZERO residency, would prefer no GRE or entrance exam.
Want it in a social science/humanities field like psychology (no MBAs or Computers please, got HAU for the MBA)
Annnnnnnd go!....

I would think that they all have some sort of “residency” because there’s no masters program that would let you transfer in everything. Other than that, I got nothin’

Pardon, I meant residency in "college campus visits and stays".

<clicks thread> Hmm, I thought this was a list of Masters programs... oops, I guess it will be sooner or later.
I would review this list of CBE programs first: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Co...d_Programs
There are several states I did a quick review of that have in-expensive Masters programs all about $9-12K USD

Walden might be the only CBE that has a master's in psych. Walden isn't available in every state so check that it's available in your state before diving too deeply into their programs.

Capella has multiple competency-based master's degrees in psychology, but I've been told that Capella isn't as flexible as they claim. University of Phoenix should be offering a competency-based master's in psychology soon if they aren't already. HLC approved the program a few months ago.

yes I am hoping that walden has a tempo grant soon, all I see is the course-based $3k option. Would really like to do tempo and get some $$ knocked off it. Thankfully I have about 5-6 months left so here's hoping for a deal popping up for Walden. Thanks everyone

Not gonna list individual programs, but for price and no-campus-visit-required you might want to look at:
Arkansas State University
Fort Hays State University
Eastern Illinois University
Northeastern State University
One of them might have a program of interest to you. None are CBE. Arkansas is on a seven-week schedule, the others are semester based.
All of them are public universities and offer masters programs that are in the $10,000-$13,000 range. None require GRE.
