I'm wondering if anyone has a general idea of how likely it is that a Study.com course (Historical Methods/Historiography in particular) will gain ACE recommendation. I know that not all of their courses are intended to, but just looking at this course it looks like they are designing it to be UL at ACE (doesn't mean it will be, but it looks to me like that's their goal). But I have no idea what that process looks like, does anyone know how long it takes/how likely it is that a Study.com course will get ACE status?

If they're designing it for ACE credit, it is very likely to get approved for at least LL credit. Study.com knows exactly what they're doing with the ACE/NCCRS process. As far as what the time frame is, I have no idea. It seems to be a pretty slow process.

Have you talked to Study.com? Has it been submitted yet? I contacted them last year about business class and they told me when it was expected to be reviewed by ACE.

Hello,
I contacted Study.com about this about two weeks ago and I was told it is not expected to be eligible for credit within the next 6 months. I meant to post about this and then I completely forgot so thank-you for reminding me. I apologize I didn’t make a posting about this immediately.
I will be taking it through AMU.
