Thank you for contacting the American Council on Education (ACE). Both courses – Financial Management (ICS-0152) and Consumer Behavior (ICS-0150) were renewed 10/01/2012 for a period of three years.
You are indeed safe in taking them.
Please feel free to contact us again should you have further questions or require additional assistance.

Just to confirm,
ACE granted me credit for Penn Foster's "Financial Management" course completed on 10/20/2012. See screenshot (not photoshopped )

I emailed ACE and received confirmation that both Penn Foster "Business Law I" (BUS213) and "Marketing Research" (MKT260) were re-evaluated and active as of October 1, 2012. They will be active until the next review period (three years). :hurray:
Again, as others have stated, the ACE representative was extremely helpful and responded within a day. If you need confirmation on a Penn Foster course, I suggest contacting ACE.
Maybe we can have an unofficial listing somewhere on the forum, so we don't bombard the ACE representative. It seems the same person responded to each of our inquiries.

That's great you were able to add the course but in October they were showing it as active, thus the reason I dropped $200+ dollars on it around the same time. My question is can anyone add a class NOW with the database saying 9/30/2012? I cannot because it gives me a message stating the date isn't valid and ACE says I can't either until they are finished with their evaluation.. I feel I'm being a pain asking the same question multiple times but since I was hoping to complete all my credits before 12/31 to graduate, it's this completed Penn Foster class or the Principles of Finance DSST (not my preference as I already spent hundreds on PF AND I'm experiencing test burn-out but will DSST if necessary. Thanks!
The ACE website shouldn't be stopping you from requesting an evaluation. Could you post the error message?
You could try changing the completion date to whatever is valid (e.g. 9/30) to "force" a review. The review will show the incorrect date, but will also show that the course is actually approved. You may just need to get the official ball rolling.
I added the financial management course maybe three weeks ago, so I don't understand why it would be valid for me and not for you. If I can help, feel free to PM. I'll be glad to provide you any details that I can. This is a really crummy situation and I completely empathize.
