LUO or TESU for BSBA
#1
Hey college/degree planning magicians!

I'm hoping to get a B.S. in Business Administration, and can't decide between Liberty University Online or TESU. I'd like to do as much as I can through alternative credit sources like CLEP, Sophia, SDC, etc.
Liberty would be my preferred school, but I'm wondering if TESU might be a better, more affordable fit for the credits I have already. I've created what I hope are feasible degree plans for both school, and have attached them both. Any advice, comments, etc. would be so appreciated!
Thanks!

@kimberlyagapril, Welcome to the board, great job in getting those credits and deciding on a degree path. You can continue taking CLEP and Sophia.org for the general education, electives, and classes that go towards both institutions. It's really up to you, if you like Bible classes, then LUO might work, if you want to take more relevant classes to business, then you can get the TESU BSBA with an AOS of your liking. Take your time to decide...

You can get some UL business, acc 211 and the new/old testament from Christian leaders college (it's Christian leaders institute but the equivalency title on libertys page says college)
$125 to enroll one time fee. The classes are free. Transfer up to 21 credits to liberty for one fee (I think it's $75 and then more money if more then 21 credits but you will have to check because off the top of my head I don't remember)
Keep in mind at Liberty you need 25% of the major taken at Liberty and a total of 30 credits taken at Liberty.

Good plans!

Your EMT certification may be worth several credits at TESU or at Liberty.

Don't expect Sophia Religion, a secular survey of religions, to cover BIBL 104, about the Old Testament and New Testament specifically and taught from Liberty's Evangelical perspective, at Liberty. But you could challenge BIBL 104 through Liberty's in-house Institutional Challenge Exam.

The credit recommendation for CLEP Analyzing and Interpreting Literature was reduced from 6 semester hours to 3 within the past several years. This change might have propagated to TESU.

According to the degree completion plan for the BSBA at Liberty, they will waive RLGN 104 and THEO 104 for students transferring in 60 or more credits:
