This may have been posted already, but LSU is increasing its independent study course tuition and fees effective August 17, so you *just* have time to enroll at the cheaper rate if you are planning on taking one of their classes.
A three-hour course will go from $651 to $728 plus books (a $77 increase).
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
83 hours of ACE-worthy credits

Ouch! When I started here on IC back in like 2010 these courses where well under $300! And that seemed expensive!
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Time flies, doesn't it? I was looking through the course list and decided that unless you need a source for a hard-to-find credits (Intermediate Latin, some politics, etc.), there really isn't much of a reason to take those courses anymore. The same credits can be found more cheaply from many other places.

Yeah, at this point, it just isn't really worth it anymore.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
