Kindle Reader for Mac
#1
I thought this might be a good place to ask. Does anyone know of a voice reader for the Kindle app on Mac or iPhone? Reading 40+ page chapters of less than thrilling material gets to be drab. I would love if I could basically have an audiobook experience with my textbooks.

The only thing I am aware of is the option to add the audible narration to your books that you own (for a fee).

At times I've either obtained a textbook in pdf or similar, or copy-and-pasted chunks of text from a copyright-controlled format, then used either text-to-speech functionality built into an operating system or word processor, or a text-to-speech app (e.g., Voice Dream on iOS), to read it.

Other times I've found college instructors teaching from the same textbook who posted their lectures, conveniently based on my textbook, to YouTube. Podcast platforms might similarly have something.

Thanks! I just downloaded Voice Dream and it's working if I save pages from the textbook as a PDF in Word. Thank you!
