I have been using the 3g kindle to access instantcert from locations away from my computer. With the screen in landscape mode the flashcards are perfectly readable unlike on a tiny cell phone screen. This post is for anyone considering the device specifically to access instantcert since I was unable to find that information on the forum.
As a bonus, it is also a fantastic way to read books

Ah but it can. It is not up to par with a good human reader, but the feature is serviceable when you don't want to put your book down and you have to do something else with your eyes and hands.

So you're saying it has the text to speech feature built in to read what ever book you put in there??
I'll get one if it does. These 800 page books for this class are killing me.

I understand that some books have this feature disabled as part of their DRM. I have not run into the issue on any book so far and it would not be a problem if you are brining in any non drm books. I do not think I would want to use it all the time since the mechanical reading can be hard to follow but it works great for occasional use.
