KCTCS - everythng you need to know
#21
If KCTCS is regionally accredited most regionally accredited schools will accept the credits in transfer, it is up to each school to decide what credits they will accept so there isn't a flat answer for all schools, but RA usually accepts RA if they have a comparable class to transcribe it to. If there isn't a similar class in their catalog then they can't accept it and transcribe it.

I live in KY and I am enrolled at Gateway (one of the 16 CC in the KCTCS network) and I take classes completely online through KCTCS, it's easier than going to the local campus. I have taken the regular online classes as well as the On-Demand classes. Someone posted that none of the On-Demand are proctored and that is partially false. While most aren't proctored, MAT 150-College Algebra has a proctored test, but that is really the only one that I know of so far. KCTCS is an awesome way to get credits!!!

I just wanted to state that the KCTCS system really is cheap and flexible-- even for out of state students.
