First-time poster, a long-time lurker. I just had my transcripts evaluated and was looking for the triple minor BLS program option. My goal is to fall into a project management role in the future, but MIS is also a cool skill to have. I tried switching out the business minor for international studies, but I guess I didn't word it right or don't have the right amount of transfer credits?
Technically the International Studies minor is not available in YourPace. The only minors that are officially available in YourPace are the 5 on the website. You need 9 foreign language credits and you don't have any. All of the courses that fill the IS requirements may not be available in YourPace. There's only 6 credits in foreign language available currently.
Have you created your MaineStreet account? It's easier to read your transcripts on there than this document. Your academic advisor will email you a degree evaluation pdf file that will show what the degree requirements are and what you've completed. When you plan on enrolling? Once you enroll, you'll need permission from your academic advisor to transfer in additional courses.
Oh and the additional minors eats up the general electives. You also need to complete 24 UL credits for the BLS and the majority of those credits need to be completed at UMPI. The 24 UL credits do not include your first minor, but will include the additional minors.

Based on this single response, it seems like it would be better to do the "Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration – Project Management Concentration"? The business minor just seems like a waste to me, and the international studies minor would be to help me get abroad. That being said, thank you for the input. I'm going to research further.
Edit: Also, yes. I have my MaineStreet account. Still learning how to navigate. I was planning on enrolling in the first Spring Semester and cranking out Sophia and SDC courses.
There isn't a business minor. There's the Management & Leadership minor which you've been accepted into. If you do decide to go for the BLS, then you contact your academic advisor - once you're enrolled - to add the additional minors to your degree programs.
The International Studies minor is more about history than anything else. UMPI offers a history degree in YourPace if you'd prefer history over business.

Curious why you would think that? Most companies are going to prefer students who have a specific degree. They're not looking for someone who majored in "international studies". If you really want to go abroad, I would get a BABA, then maybe look to see if you can find an "International Studies" certificate somewhere. A business degree is going to be understood better in way more countries than a Liberal Studies degree would be.

@BeenBen, Welcome to the board... even though you're most likely set with UMPI, it may be a good idea to provide a bit more details in what you're looking for and what your situation is, generally, I get people to fill us in with this template and last post addendum of details: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...Area-works
The appeal of the UMPI BLS MIS is that you can add minors and also have 60 free elective credits. It really depends, if you're going for a master's degree, you just need the prerequisites completed, use X courses you need for your bachelor's and make sure those requirements are completed, that's it... You don't need a BABA to get into an MBA for example. Just keep the grades up and you're in a pretty good spot...
