Just getting started update
#1
O.K. so I just took my first clep in college mathematics and passed with a 62/80. I guess that's not so bad, being that a 50 is passing. Thanks guys for the responses those websights were lifesavers- they really contained alot of information. I've got to go and crack those books for the next clep in biology, if anyone has any info. on good study materials please let me know.

But, Biology I maintain is the only test I have taken where I actually had to take notes and manage it like a full blown course. I got a 56 Using IC and Petersons, getting through the questions requires focus and I recommend some sort of theme song for each set of cards because there are 900.

I have heard good things about REA and I always recommend Finish College Fast because I have been successful when following their study guides. If your school requires a high score, make sure to look up some of those explanations in IC with google alta vista or wikipedia to enforce your knowledge.

On a curbed grade scale 62 usually means better than 90 to 92 percent of test participants. I dont have the exact one for CLEP/DSST's but that score is good so feel good about it.

All the best.
Cool

Congratulations!

For biology, I think a couple of people have passed that recently. Try using the search feature to find their posts. One of the books I remember seeing recommended was called Biology Smart.
AS in 2010 and BS in 2013 at Excelsior College - Transcripts and Costs
MS Biostatistics in 2019 at Texas A&M University - Graduate School
