Is my plan for TESU ok so far?
#1
Hey y'all,
It's been a long and frustrating few days of trying to find resources but I just decided to make something with what I have so far.

I'm not sure about a specific AOI yet, but I'm interested Business so far. Seems the best options to me. Does anyone have advice or a plan for business or marketing plllease?
But I made a plan for the General Ed section and would love any feedback if possible!Smile

I kept it broad to accommodate any AOI later on, and obviously the capstone isn't important atm.

I'd really appreciate any advice or hacks you can offer...
All the best, the new guy.

If you are starting from scratch, I would not fill up the GE with Study.com, as you may end up not being able to fill your UL with that - you're only allowed 90cr from Study.com at TESU.

Instead, try using other options: Saylor, CLEP, DSST, Straighterline, OnlineDegree, ALEKS, etc.

Since you're based out in Asia, your best bets are StraighterLine and Study.com, I recommend doing the SL/Study.com combo within my signature. You can download the spreadsheet, the only difference is the TES-100 course (Cornerstone) and the updated cost. I highly recommend doing SL for most of the LL and Study.com for selective courses including the AOS.

There are other providers, but since you're from South Africa and located in China/Vietnam, it's hard to work on CLEP/DSST. I would start off with the free credits first on the Wiki, then work on StraighterLine, finally finishing off the degree with Study.com for the Area of Study and other courses not available on StraighterLine.

It pays to be strategic with Study.com courses. For instance, you're much better off taking your business core and AOS courses through them, because there's a lot of overlap. It can really cut down on the amount of time needed for subsequent courses as you go.

Thanks so much for the advice guys I really appreciate it a lot. I'm probably gonna need to figure out the AOS section then to get the bigger picture... Is there people who has some ideas of a roadmap for Business or Sociology or something like that to look at maybe?

Just a heads up: When you find your AOS courses, check them in ACE registry. AOS, and especially UL courses, are the most important and difficult to find (General, GE and FE are in abundance). If some expire soon, or you only have one available option for an important course, it might be better to do that AOS/UL course first.
