Is Study.com college level?
#21
I have done a few Study.com courses, for college credit ones only, they seem very comparable to community college courses I have taken before online. Study.com offers lower level credits in addition, they also offer upper level credits as well. These courses are both evaluated and recommended by ACE and NCCRS as college level, lower or upper level credit courses.

To the OP, you can ladder your courses from different providers to get the hang of online education. Are you going for a degree? If so, get acquainted with Saylor, Straighterline and Study.com, in addition to the free credits available from Sophia and other course providers. Start with a Cert, move up to an Associate degree, and finally finish with a Bachelor degree.
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)

AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I

Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

To the OP: if I were in your shoes and truly just wanted the knowledge, I'd seek out other free options such as those previously mentioned. If I were going to go to the trouble to pay for something like Study.com, I'd go ahead and take the credit option and at least have it added to an ACE transcript so it's not "wasted" if you decide you want to put it toward a degree later.
