My son is taking a few edx courses and then some sophia courses, to use them as part of a resume for a competitive opportunity. Sophia doesn't provide any kind of certificate, which would be great. So I guess Credly badges would be the only way to show his accomplishments there.
So is Sophia still using Credly?

Thanks. And is there anyway for somebody else, that isn't a university, to view my credly badges? Is there a sort of public profile I can use, that isn't my own dashboard?
EDIT: Oh, never mind. I see they do. Well it's not a certificate, but it's better than nothing.

Sign in, go to settings (click the little person in the upper right corner). Make sure that "Allow my profile to be publicly visible" is on. Then click on "view profile" (again, click the little person in the upper right corner). Click the "share my profile" link. Anyone who has that URL will be able to see your badges.

How young is your son? Does he already have an Associates degree? What's he looking to go into? What's the competitive opportunity you're referring to? Why all of these questions you ask? Well, he can go for not only the Sophia.org credly badges, or the edx courses, he can specialize with a Google/TADA certificate, get cheapies/freebies, and/or ladder that to a Pierpont BOG AAS if he doesn't already have an associates degree...
