Virtual school programs may be drawing students away from other forms of home schooling, some say.
"I've met some long-time home-schooling families that are so attracted to this that they've switched over," said Wyoming Virtual Academy parent Amy Threewitt. "I see more home-school families coming in. I think it has taken a couple of years for people to know that it's there."
