Art history test?
#1
Hi! I am new here, but have known about credit by examination for a while.

I was wondering if there are any tests/exams/accelerated learning places to get 6 credits of art history (like art history 1 &2)? I have been looking around for a while, since I am planning out my degree, but haven't really found anything.

Thanks!

Well, according to my Charter Oak list of tests, there are a couple options:
  • Art of the Western World (DSST - 3 Credits) - I plan on taking this one
  • Art History (AP - 6 Credits)
  • Art History I (TECEP - 3 Credits)
  • Art History II (TECEP - 3 Credits)
There's also another AP option that isn't Art History, per se:
  • Art/Studio Drawing or General Portfolio (AP - 6 Credits)
I've also heard that TESC is withdrawing some of its tests, so Art History I & II may not be available. Hope this helps!

Does anyone have anymore information about the AP art history? I read the collegeboard website, but I am wondering if there are other resources.

And how do TECEP tests work?
