Hello,
I am wondering what the best way to study for the Microeconomics CLEP is if anybody could help me.
I need a pretty quick sure way to pass it, so I dont want to read a college textbook or anything like that. I dont really have any previous knowledge of Microeconomics.
Can I use just IC? Or should I get some specific study guide to help? If so, any recommendations?

I got the book Microeconomics Demystified and it was a great help along with the IC flash cards. I studied 4 weeks for that CLEP. I Cannot remember my score, but I want to say it was 57 or so.

there are some good feedback posted in specific exam thread that you should read for tips. I studied Using IC and YouTube videos of Mr. Clifford as they are spot on. I was able to pass macro and micro without breaking sweat because of Mr. Clifford'S videos.

I took it in community college but never really went to class(No quizzes or in class assigments). We had an online program where we had a set of questions we had to answer each week, that helped a lot I think. Also, this online program had flash cards and honestly, it is SUPER important to understand the terms in Microeconomics. There are also a couple formulas that are good to memorize, not a lot though( 2-4 if I remember correctly). These formulas might be in the flash cards as well.
Why are the terms so important?
This is because the problems you do are all based around you knowing that term. E.g. ( Is the US Dollar depreciating against the Japanese Yen ? ) This problem is impossible if you don't understand the concept of depreciation, if you understand the concept, it is then either an easy question or doable question. So basically, memorize the terms and try to understand the concept too. Know and understand the concepts? You're golden!*
*memorizing few formulas also important, subpar math skills will make this more difficult

You can go on ITunes U and find free video lectures. Just watch the lectures and pay attention to the concepts and go online and find and memorize some basic microecon formulae and you're golden. I did that for Macro and scored in the high 60s, no textbook, just lectures and formulae.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
