Using entirely outside resources is not something I would suggest. Most of the videos in Saylor courses can be âskimmedâ as well by changing the speed to 1.5x or 2x.
I noticed you took Business Law & Ethics and Corporate Communications--these are the 2 courses I'll be taking with Saylor. Can you post your experience, and any advice for these courses?

To be fair, I did have some previous experience with both of these topics, but I found both of the courses to be relatively simple. I passed Business Law & Ethics with a 94 and Corporate Communication with an 82. For Business Law and Ethics, I did actually read through the textbook chapters and took notes. Then I took the chapter quizzes and moved on to the next chapter. This course took me a little under 2 weeks. I found the subject matter interesting which helped me focus. I think the Saylor textbook is the only resource you really need for this one. As for specific topics, pay extra attention to the different forms of business organization (corporation, partnership, sole proprietorship, LLC, LLP etc) and the differences between them. Also employment and HR-related topics (at-will employment, discrimination, harassment, etc.) and basic information about unions and collective bargaining.
Corporate Communication had a much longer list of materials in the course. I honestly skipped most of the long (30+ minute) videos and âskimmedâ some of the others by changing the playback speed. The exam was very carefully structured to include a certain number of questions from every chapter. The review quizzes at the end of each chapter were very helpful for this one.
