I'm a Filipina (20 years old) with a philippine science high school diploma and some college credits from my Bachelor of Science in Psychology in DLSU, I only did 2 terms out of 3 (trimester system) and is currently on a LOA. While my first year of college wasn't my strongest academically, my high school diploma is considered prestigious in the Philippines.

I'm interested in pursuing an online degree in schools from the US, but I'm unsure how my academic background will translate. Additionally, many scholarships seem limited to US citizens.
Here's my situation:
- I'm currently working in the Philippines and have no plans to immigrate immediately. Finishing my degree here seems financially prudent for now.
- I'd consider using a relative's US address for applications, but only for educational purposes.
- Has anyone faced a similar situation as an international student?
- Are there universities in the US known for being more open to international students?
- What are the realistic odds of securing scholarships as a non-citizen?
