I finished my last class, the Liberal Studies Capstone, on 15 Dec 2013 and I haven't heard a word since. My transcript hasn't been updated, I have received no messages announcing anything, and my graduation status hasn't changed. Nothing. I am toying with the idea of transferring to a different school just so I can graduate. Does anyone know how long I have to wait? Maybe the counselors at Excelsior are still laughing too hard to process me out?

Transferring schools when you're already finished would be extreme. You would have to do another capstone at TESC or the cornerstone and capstone at COSC. Have you contacted anyone? It's probably just an oversight.

Have you checked the graduation schedule? I completed my courses in October 2010 and my degree was officially conferred in December of 2010, which was the next conferral date. My memory is foggy, but I believe I had actually missed the graduation cutoff for December by a week because it was before my classes actually ended. It was actually two weeks past the cutoff date by the time my grades were in the system, but they were able to get me placed in the December group. As the cutoff date approached, I worked with my advisor and stayed on top of things to ensure I knew when everything was supposed to happen (I had a job offer to start in Jan that required my conferred degree.)
It looks like according to this, your degree will be conferred on February 21st, if they accepted everything by the cutoff. If they didn't, it looks like March 21st.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Wile E. Coyote, genius. I am not selling anything nor am I working my way through college, so let's get down to basics: you are a rabbit and I am going to eat you for supper. Now don't try to get away, I am more muscular, more cunning, faster and larger than you are, and I am a genius, while you could hardly pass the entrance examinations to kindergarten, so I'll give you the customary two minutes to say your prayers.
Bachelor of Science in PsychoRabbitology degree
Master of Education with a specialty in Rabbit-specific destructive munitions (or eLearning & Technology, I forget which)
Doctor of Philosophy in Wile E. Leadership with an area of specialty in Acme Mind Expansion - 2017 Hopefully

I'm with Sanantone on this one....It would be a bit of a crazy move to transfer schools without at least contacting your adviser first, and seeing what's up.

Contact your advisor and ask them what to do next. With the holiday season and the start of a new semester, you have probably just slipped through the cracks.

Call the school and ask. They all seem to take their time on graduation but you should be receiving updates at any school when graduation is pending.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

I sent my advisor a note this morning on the eve of the one month anniversary of the last day of my last class for my BA. Maybe the significance will jar Excelsior into action!
