Studying for this test on Wednesday. Doing well on IC. I took the official clep parctice exam and only got 6 wrong. Scoring about 57 on the Peterson's they are pretty hard.
Did everyone else find that the Peterson exams were much harder than actual exam? I've noticed that in the past but the Humanities exams seem particularly hard and I know this subject matter better than other exams I've taken in the past. (or at least I thought I did).hilarious
Anyway, I just wanted to get some tips from those who have taken this exam. I've read all the threads in here. Some say the exam is easy and some say it is hard. I really want to pass since this would be may last exam and then I can graduate!
TIA.

Austin- First of all, don't worry. The Peterson's practice test for this exam is insanely difficult (so much so, that I was discouraged at only getting about 65% of the questions correct). However, I found that the actual exam was much closer in level of difficulty to the College Board's official practice test. From what you've written, it sounds like you're well prepared. Best of luck on your exam!

I agree with Pennyddreadful,
The Peterson's mock exams took the material too deep. For this exam, you only need to know a little bit about a lot of things, rather than a lot about a few things.
The College Board practice test should be your guide for this exam.
Judging by your score on the practice test, I think you have more than enough mojo to pass this exam.
You are going to do groovy baby.
Best of luck,
Snazzlefrag

You're probably going to score in the 70's on this one. Have fun!

You'll do great! I scored a 70 on that CLEP and I only had 75.1% correct on my second time through the InstantCert material. I did not use the Petersons practice exams for Humanities, but in the case of both Biology and Educational Psychology the Petersons material was harder than the actual CLEP.

Thanks everyone. I took the last Peterson's and scored a 70. I should be ready for Wednesday. Those lower Peterson scores were making me a bit nervous.

I will be taking the Humanities exam 11/9/2007. I have limited knowledge in this area but realize that I know more than I thought using IC. I have taken and passed 4 DSSST exams using IC and had good scores. I think that with the forum and IC I can pass this one. This will finish my BS credit needs and I am starting my MS in the summer.
