Can someone tell me how to fill the english comp. II course?
The school here will not take CLEP as engish comp. II. I was looking at SL, but that's not approved yet through FH, so that's a no go as well.
I was thinking someone here has surely come up on this problem as well.
Did you have to sit through the class, or is there a cheaper and quicker way of doing it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if PF or any other places like SL are in existence.
I know that Eng. Comp. II at SL is not approved to be transcribed yet.
I would really like to hear from some of the others on this forum about how they filled this requirement.
Was it through CLEP or DSST? I was thinking those only count for ENG 101.
Is that incorrect?

I do know that if you are going through TESC, they will award credit for ENG Comp I & II for the CLEP English Comp w/ Essay or the Freshman College Comp w/ Essay.

I fulfilled Eng 101 with straighterline through Ft. Hays. Failed clep so had to take both Engl 101 and 102. Spoke with english department head (who is my advisor) and he allowed me to take a departmental test (at full cost of the course) and I passed. This gave me the two freshman english classes that I needed. Maybe your college would allow you to test out too?
