Synicaal Wrote:Ran into this same problem also, I found a test center about an hour away that could do it but the time saved by double or triple testing would have only been worth it if I knew I was going to pass them all or one was at least a 6cr CLEP. Then my test center switched it to once a month which made the further one a lot more appealing, however, I am all done with CLEP now so it doesn't matter. Look around you might be able to find one.
Yes I found a center that's pretty far (3 hours round-trip) but open on Saturdays and for just long enough I can complete 2 exams. I'm making the drive every weekend but 6-9 credits/week makes it feel worth it.

Did you see the "chapter quizzes" folder?
Good luck!
By a 'good thing', I guess I mean that I haven't lost it entirely. Sometimes, I feel really stupid, and that's foreign to me. The quiz thing, that's what sanantone said too. I didn't see anything for quizzes in info lit; I even went back to make sure I didn't miss something when I unzipped. Is there another thing to d/l besides the zip?

For closed book finals, I book them 3 days after I finish or close to finishing the course, so I retain the info.
I don't like to burn out (like I did with the ALEKS courses), took me a while to "recover" from that burnout.
I am there.
I have two issues, one is a manic-like urge to not stop until I've completed something. Unfortunately, the level of granularity I've set for 'college' isn't milestones, it is degree in hand? yes / no' LOL So, there is the strong urge to always be doing something.
The other issue is I am getting tired of loading and unloading test data into my melon. It is starting to manifest mentally and physically. But I feel I am so clooose to being done, and I don't have a lot of internal patience for 'tired', but it is starting to become a real issue.

I was always one of the first ones done with tests all through school, not because I was the smartest (I probably didn't get the highest grade most of the time, and I was certainly not the valedictorian or anything) but because I was a really fast reader.
I read quickly too. I was worried that online proctors would think I was cheating if I go as quickly as I can, but I like to check my work a lot, so it evens out.

2 in a day is the most I've done, one day each for four consecutive weeks.

I did 2 CLEP exams in a day a few times and found it very doable, I'm pretty fast in my exams so I wasn't there for too long. I did 3 CLEP exams one day and I felt mentally exhausted by the 3rd one, it was a long slog. I passed but I didn't do it again.

I'm surprised you old timers forgot about the Chinese guy that did 22 exams in four days (day three he took eight!) while on vacation. Don't think anyone will top that.
