Hi,
If you have any suggestions and recommendations on study material for the Information Systems and Computer Applications that you thought were helpful in passing the exam, I'd appreciate the tips. I was thinking the IC flashcards were a good choice but what would other supplemental materials be? TIA

Not sure how or if this applies in your case, but I just easily passed the DSST exam for "Intro to Computers" using only the IC flashcards and maybe 2-3 hours of review. Good luck!

Have you thought about doing a 'search' of the forum.
99% chance your question has already been answered before.

Dblhex: Well, itâs something to consider. Iâm researching every option and certainly open.
GoodtoGo: I actually saw that just today on amazon and was considering it. Thanks!
Tasman: Yes I did and after 15min of reading thread after thread and seeing only IC suggestions I made a judgment call to come out of lurkingdom and ask for further help but thanks for the suggestion. People are using the CLEP names/score in their siggies so when you do a search for this CLEP for example I would read threads that ended up not having anything at all to do with it but the search string picked up the keywords in peoples signatures. Iâm certain you are right however, the info is here somewhere. I gave it a shot to no avail.

Good point benedicta. I think the sig should be excludable from the search.
Of course the sig is just a simple addition of text to anyone's message text.
This is something that the bulletin board developers (not degreeforum) need to work out. I have also had this same difficulty.
Use the search is a standard answer to any question posted to a bulletin board. I have been a member of many and there is always a "use the search" answer to every question and I find it extremely helpful.

Something that works for me:
When you click on "Search" above, enter the title of the exam in the keyword box and then use the drop down box immediately below it. Put that on "Search Titles Only". Helps eliminate a lot of the false hits from those signatures. Most threads that contain really great information about a certain test are often have the name somewhere in the title.
