I am new to Clep world and would like to know what is the policy regarding retaking the exam if failed the first time?

I believe you must wait 6 months.

6 month wait per test if failed for Clep and also DSST, usually 100 bucks per test (65test+25-30 test center fee) free for military, most tests gives you 3 credits while some 6, and some language up to 12, basically thats about it ah you cant beat the price per semester hour so its well worth the shot

Thank you so much. I am assuming DSST stands for Dantes? I thought Dantes were only for military? So I guess anyone can take Dantes?

You can retest on the ECE after 60 days of a failure, if you decide on taking ECEs.
Great place to get upper level credit, and more of a selection on upper level credit.
You may also look into Ohio University, they have their own tests like TECEPs and ECEs which they call CCEs ( Course Credit by Examination ).
