For those who earned a BA at one of the Big 3, how many credits did you have when you enrolled in either EC, COSC, or TESC, and how long did it take you to finish the BA?
I am trying to determine just how fast one can do this.

I completed my AS with EC, so I had a total of 60 credits, plus a few they weren't using, and went on to complete my BS with 2 areas of focus in 10 months. If I could have tested out on everything, it would have been faster, but I did take a few classes for UL credit. I usually did 2-3 exams a months at the beginning, but then I got burned out once I started a new full time job and with taking classes it just got the better of me. I hope this helps. Good luck!

I haven't finished yet, but I'll tell you my plans anyway. :p
I started with zero and have completed 81 credits in 5 months. Mostly CLEPS and DSSTs plus one ALEKS course (good for math credits), two Liberty University courses, and 21 FEMAs (if you need any free elctives use these!!)credits. I have six ECE (Excelsior Exams) left, two ALEKS courses, one CLEP, one DSST, and one TESC course. I hope to finish in three months or so. I don't think I'll make the deadline for September graduation, but hopefully I will for December.

I started with around 15 credits, and tested out of everything except information literacy at EC in nine months.

I started with about 30 units, but only half were usable. I finished in 5 months with clep, ECEs,Dantes while on active duty for free, taking at least 3 exams a week on average, I got Cs and a few Bs, and again I failed several exams and still completed my BS in Cj in record time.

I finish next month so that will be 9 months, with a lot of thanks to IC & TESC! I had 37 credits from community college, 25 or so from the Navy, and had taken 6 CLEPs years ago. By next month I will have finished 8 more CLEP/DSST exams, 2 ALEKS courses and 1 course through TESC. Not bad considering the 60+ hour weeks at my job. This whole method for finishing college has been a godsend to me! I never would have been able to do this without IC & TESC.

As impressive as that definitely is, to me this is even more remarkable:
"I am 16 and have 81 credits down and 39 to go!
My Goal: Graduate from TESC with a degree in Psychology this December, then go on to get my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. And then be a missionary and do whatever God wants me to do."
Perhaps I'm showing my age but I couldn't even conceive of such an opportunity at your age. Keep up the good work and I hope you live out your dream!
