I have a BA in computer science from TESU. Have taken plenty of classes from Sophia/study.com as well as some community college.
I plan on going to UMPI to get a BA in Accounting.
How can I know which will transfer? Is there any way to transfer credits to them to see what will transfer without enrolling since I plan to take as many courses at sophia and study.com again before enrolling.?

A good way to start is to check the UMPI General Education Requirements and BA in Accounting Degree maps & match them against your Sophia and TESU credits in a spreadsheet - links below:
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...ts_Roadmap
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/UM...egree_Plan
You can check your TESU credits using the UMPI transfer database:
https://peportal.maine.edu/psp/PAPRD89/E...PAPP_GUEST
Transfer Course Equivalencies --> Transfer Courses or Test Credits --> Select UMPI and then click on T --> Thomas Edison --> Show All Subjects

With the prior BA, all GEC requirements are waived. Your electives should also be filled. The rest will depend on if you have any prior Accounting classes or not.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

All you need are the credits that are within the major, there are more than 30 credits, if you have some of the major credits completed, you still need at least 30 for residency credits. As mentioned above, spreadsheet, map the requirements and what you have done with what is required on the website, minus the gen eds/electives. Voila!

Would I still have to take electives at UMPI or am I covered with my BA from TESU?

They should be fulfilled by your BA. No one on here can guarantee it though.

The bulk of it should be done, if you're missing a lab, language, or something else, they'll most likely indicate that minor requirement. Otherwise, the general ed and electives are easy to finish off if you need one or two more classes. Just make sure to start the degree enrollment process with the max transferred in so you don't have to waste a subscription month to get those from Sophia.org or Study.com...
