History degree plan

BS, MA, and MS degrees completed. I have doctoral credits as well but they are not relevant or transferrable

History Elective from Sophia (US past and present)

Any certifications or military experience? Military-Yes. Not relevant or transferrable. 

Mainly looking at UMPI but I might consider TESU. I much prefer the classes at UMPI though. Applied to BM schools as well as SNHU. Open to non CBE schools. Dealing with a lot of shenanigans at BM online schools wanting me to take even more gen eds or foreign language which makes UMPI/TESU/SNHU more desirable. 

For UMPI I will need 10 classes for the 30-credit requirement.

Here are the classes I was looking at. Mainly looking at these classes due to interest and ease of completion based on comments here. Open to critiques:

Infectious disease
Early modern Europe
Arab Israeli History

Honestly there are too many to list. Mainly health sciences related with chem, bio, physics, stats, physics etc. A few literature, writing, English and religion courses as well. One poly sci. No previous history courses at least at the undergrad level besides Art History. Grad school classes don’t usually count for undergrad transfer but they are health sciences and history classes.

Aside from a foreign language, I meet most schools gen ed requirements aside from an advanced Math if required for a BS degree.

TESU would count grad school credits... except they would have to have been earned after your last degree was awarded.

Interesting, so I could transfer them in and basically only need to do a capstone if the required concentrations are met?

If you did Master's courses without an associated degree - yes.

If you did Master's courses and have since graduated with a Master's degree, no.

Ah gotcha. Hypothetically you could almost finish a masters then take a LOA. Transfer them TESU and graduate. Then go back and finish the masters?

Yup, definitely possible (as long as it's allowed at the institution where the student is taking the courses). It's kind of the concept behind TESU's Bachelor's-to-Master's program, except their Master's degrees are quite expensive for what you get.

When you say allowed, do you mean the BA granting institution or the MA one? I guess how would the grad school know about the double dipping in this circumstance?

The MA one. Before granting your degree, schools run some sort of final degree check.

Let's say you want to get a MA History from John Doe University. You get admitted on the basis of your BS in Psychology from Sam Smith University. After taking a few JDU classes, you realize that you could "convert" your BS Psych into a BA History at TESU. So you apply to TESU and send in your current degree from SSU + your newly minted JDU History credits. You fill in the other TESU requirements and graduate in May of 2024. Meanwhile, you're still working on the Master's degree. In December of that year, you apply for graduation. JDU checks over your requirements and pulls records from the super sekrit pan-scholastic database. They see that you have a TESU degree that you never reported! Graduation is denied until you send them a TESU transcript. When they get the TESU transcript, they see JDU classes on it. If not allowed by JDU policies, this could get your graduation denied until you complete further classes or, possibly, get you kicked out and blacklisted. Forfeiting all credits and the degree you otherwise just finished.
