Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

I wouldn't fix that glitch either. I figure I will get charged the tech fee at some point, possibly when I graduate, but I can worry about it then!

For most students you apply to TESC, pay the application fee, and become an applicant. You then have 6 months to become an enrolled student. Regardless of how you complete the degree students must be enrolled in order to be eligible for graduation. For bachelors if you plan on transferring in almost all credits (some programs require a capstone be taken at TESC) then the cheapest tuition is the Pay Per Credit plan and take 7 TECEPs and 1 capstone course or 8 TECEPs (if capstone course is not required be taken at TESC). For associates you take 4 TECEPs unless capstone is required then you take 3 TECEPs and 1 capstone course. The easiest method is enrolled options where you pay a yearly fee to enroll and then pay for each credit at a reduced rate. The pay per credit plan requires 24 credits residency for bachelors and 12 credit residency for associates (can be completed using TECEPs). The enrolled options plan does not have a residency requirement.
I am currently working on an AAS CJ and am transferring everything in. I do not have to take a capstone course so I took 4 TECEPs to meet residency credit requirements and am eligible to apply for graduation. So far I have paid the application fee, the 4 TECEPs cost $444 and the graduation fee. I believe the tech services fee is for the enrolled options plan.
The contract programs (military, corporate choice, etc.) have different requirements so the enrollment process and requirements may be different for military students.
