Hello, I need help with two options for completing my Accounting AOS that is not a TECEP. I am old and canât remember anything so I donât think I can retain enough information to pass a TECEP. Strategic Management is going to be bad enough.
Here is what I have already completed in AOS:
ACC-301 ACC 301: Applied Managerial Accounting (Study.com)
ACC-401 ACC 302: Advanced Accounting (Study.com)
ACC-303 Cost Accounting (SL's Managerial Accounting)
ACC-201 Intermediate Accounting (SL's Financial Accounting)
Thank you in advance!

Well I have bad news for you, you still need Intermediate Accounting II and another UL accounting course. Your options right now is to wait for Study.com to get there Intermediate Accounting II course ACE approved and you can get that from there OR you take it from Penn Foster or another CC.
For the UL accounting course your easiest option is most likely the Federal Income Tax TECEP, other options are a CSU Global CBE, or you can take a Class at a 4yr school. Not sure if PF has any UL courses approved.

Also be aware that the TECEP is open book. You can "bring your tax textbook or guide with you to refer to during this exam." (quoted from the official TECEP description).

I didn't find them to be too bad and was able to finish each one in less than two weeks having no prior knowledge of Accounting. I liked Study.com better than SL because I didn't have to do so much reading and I don't mind taking all of the quizzes. It was a relief for me to have almost enough points to pass the class before I even took the exam.

Thank you for the information. Guess it is Federal Income Tax TECEP and Intermediate Accounting II then.

I highly recommend doing the Intermediate Accounting II through Penn Foster as well, even though I didn't take accounting them.
For me, I also took the same 2 accounting courses from SL. I took several PF courses and they were pretty straightforward and easy.

Sadly, it takes me around 60-70 hours each. I study 2-4 hours each evening after work and spend most all day on Saturday and a few hours on Sunday.
