Help Shape My Last Remaining CLEPS/DSST's...almost done.

Well it's decision time for me now. On the last REA I scored 82/120 questions(68%) and 45/75(60%) on the Official CLEP Exam. My downfall will be Chemistry. I just don't have enough background or time to try and learn it quickly so I either take the test and attempt best guesses or don't take it at all and try to figure what CLEP I can study for in one day (tomorrow) and pass. I'm ill right now because I've dedicated four (8+ hour) days to this and have taken very little time off. I was hoping Biology would pull me through but I can't see how it will since even if I get every Biology question right it's only fifty percent. banghead :ack:

The Peterson's CLEP Success Book has a section on that (see pdf link).

Also, this website is about the periodic table. I read the whole thing in an hour. Interactives . The Periodic Table . Intro

Look them over quickly and decide if it is the type of material you need right now.

Getting some rest helps, too. (I said as I am studying on a weekend, which I did not want to do to myself!)

Well I just finished another REA test and I scored 80% which they equate to a 68 on the exam. I'm not sure I trust that score but 80% is encouraging. I'm going to review what I missed, read up and clarify a few things then I'm going to relax until tomorrow. There isn't much more I can do at this point so it's all or nothing tomorrow. Even if I fail at least I'll be done with Natural Science because I will not be coming back to it later. milelol:

Just passed CLEP Natural Sciences with a 58! Thanks again for the encouragement, guidance, and thoughfulness. Driving there this morning I was sure I wasn't going to pass considering how comprehensive this test is. Once I gather my thoughts I am going to post in the feedback section but for now I'm just happy. Now I have ECE Cultural Diversity, and 6 unknown CLEPS/DANTES. I could possibly try ALEKS Stats still but I'm just not sure. I believe that DSST Astronomy will definitely be one of the 3 hour unknowns.

Technically I'm 12 total hours away from my degree since I have the Penn Foster Terrorism still left to complete. This has been such a wild ride but I'm hoping in the next two weeks it will all come to a close. Plus, I'm pretty sure that having everything enroute to TESC by the end of January will allow them plenty of time for evaluation before the April 1st deadline so I think my June graduation date should stand right? cheersmate

I just did some number crunching and in less than a month I've managed to successfully pass 21 hours of college credit and by next week I should have another 9. That will make 30 hours in less than a month. No wonder I'm so fried!hilarious :ack:

Congratulations! That is great news! It is a lot of info to try to learn in such a short amount of time. It sounds like you are becoming an expert at that! You are almost to the finish line. Keep going.

Wow, you are rocking out these tests! You've allowed more than enough time for the June 1st grad date. Remember they already allow 2 months from the application submission date for final administrative clean up. You must have read the same post where it did not work out for a few but I'm convinced there must have been problems with those transcripts because the majority had final grades posting at the end of the submission month and still graduated on time without incident.

So, rest up and please take it easy on yourself! Please ENJOY each major achievement, you certainly deserve it!!!:hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

Remember they already allow 2 months from the application submission date for final administrative clean up. You must have read the same post where it did not work out for a few but I'm convinced there must have been problems with those transcripts because the majority had final grades posting at the end of the submission month and still graduated on time without incident.

Thanks NAP and Bric! I am enjoying this because I'm so close to the end I can feel it. I won't allow myself to get complacent but I might take the evening off and relax. milelol: I didn't realize how many credits I've blasted out till I looked back on a few threads. To be honest though I wouldn't have been able to get through as many if I didn't have a strong Math background. Also, you guys have kept me in check and given me great advice along the way.

Like many of us here we draw inspiration from various sources. I'm a Disney fan (so is my wife) and I've read a lot on Walt Disney and his achievements. Anyway, I have used this since my distance learning journey began and it keeps me motivated: "Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. Thanks Shoto and Linda! I do feel better about taking those days off because without it I would have failed. This was a difficult test and worthy of being listed as such by so many people. This was my last major hurdle because Cultural Diversity is fairly straight forward and so is Astronomy. Plus IC has study materials on Astronomy which I will utilize. Thanks again! :hurray:

I saw you posted on my feedback thread so I'll respond here. Next on the agenda is possibly DSST Astronomy, ECE Cultural Diversity (required), and possibly ALEKS Intro Stats. This is the remainder of the credits I need to finish besides my Penn Foster course. Hopefully I'll be done with the ECE and Astronomy by Monday (that's when I scheduled my DSST exam).
