Tell me I'm ready...
#1
Just took the Peterson's "Social Sciences and History" practice exam from the Peterson's "CLEP Success" book 9th edition. I know the book is a couple of years old, but I'd figure the exam is still representative of the current exam. I scored 90/120 on the exam... I'm figuring that it would be a low to mid 60 on the CLEP.... Tell me I'm ready and I'll go take the test!!!

Yes, take the exam! If you score over 60 (out of 80) on a practice test, you should be fine on the real thing. Wink

I procrastinated for 4 years before I finally took the plunge a few weeks back and passed the exact same test you are preparing to take.

The practice tests are more difficult than the real thing. Just be prepared for the intense headrush after you earn 6 credits for a little over $100 and without having to deal with an actual college and the associated BS that comes with one.

Here's how the flowchart goes:

Take practice test.
IF FAIL: Study, then return to first step.
IF PASS: Take real Exam. Enjoy the easy creds.

If you have access to a practice test for cheap or free, I recommend doing it FIRST so you'll know if you even have to study at all, or what areas you need work on.

So go pass your test. All that ^^ is for future reference.

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone took the Clep college mathematics test and if so does anyone know what I should focus on EXACTLY? I am really nervous because this is my first test in such a long time and I need all the help I can get. Thanks.
