Isn't it great? If it was any other college outside TESC, we'd be getting summa cum laude with a grade like that. But I'll settle for the grade.
BTW, I'm a bit confused as to the criteria for being inducted in the Sigma Kappa Lambda National Honor Society. Do I have to have an earned 30 credits from TESC to be eligible? I think I will get the Arnold Fletcher Award (what does it look like?), but would love to pile on the extracurricular honors on my CV.
A.A. General Studies- TESC, 2013
B.A. History, TESC, 2014 - Arnold Fletcher Award - 4.0 GPA
M.A. Government, Security Studies - Johns Hopkins University, Class of 2018.
Straighterline - 26 courses, including English Comp. I & II, Western Civilization I & II, U.S. History I & II, Intro. to Sociology, Intro to Philosophy, Cultural Anthropology, Environmental Science, Science of Nutrition, Business Law, Financial Accounting, etc.
ALEKS: Intermediate Algebra
CLEP: Humanities 56, Social Sciences and History 58
FEMA: 6 credits
DSST: Civil War and Reconstruction 71, Introduction to Vietnam War 69, Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union 64, Modern Middle East 71.
TESC courses: War and American Society (A), Liberal Arts Capstone (A).
120/120! I'm there!

I found the pdf linked below which breaks out and describes the awards you can receive from TESC. I hope it helps.

For the Arnold Fletcher Award they'll send you a certificate and it will appear on your final transcript as "Honors: Arnold Fletcher Award" under the date your degree was conferred. The 2012 link frances posted or the 2013 version ( http://www.tesc.edu/documents/Commenceme...l-2013.pdf) both lay out the details on the other honors.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
