Has anyone used AP Art History as a study guide for the DSST Art of the Western World test? I have been trying to study for this test for the last few months. I am reading Art of the Western World, but I still just don't get it, I guess this subject is over my head! This is my last test and the only one my school will accept. I know that the AP study guides has some things that the test doesn't cover, but on the rest, does anyone know if it will help? Thanks for any info.

The Annenberg Media series actual goes right along with the test. It is about 8 or 9 hours long. They also have a book that goes along with the series.

Thank you, I have watched those also, but it can't hurt to watch them again. I get so hung up on the words that are so unfamilar. It does help to know that the videos will help on the test though, maybe I will pay more attention this time

My girlfriend just passed the test and she swears it was the videos that made the difference for her. She did go through them twice also.

Doesn't look like our library has these. Where would I look for this series? Thanks for any help on this!

I did a search and found their site. Now, I'm pondering how I can view each hour long video. We don't have too fast of an Internet service. This could take me until next year! I also saw they were $389 to buy.
Woo-hoo! I just remembered I have The Teaching Company videos called
History of European Art (12 volume set). Those should cover a good portion of what I need. And I almost sold these last year....that would have been annoying to say the least.

I had the same problem, internet connection was too slow to watch the videos. I found VHS copies at a large library in a nearby town. They hadn't been checked out in years!
