It’s about time I finalized my plan of attack for my degree. In May I will be starting at UMPI and only taking 10 courses for my BAS Pre-Law minor. The courses I have left are Composition II, Creative Writing/Creative Decision Making, Business Communication, Intro to Criminal Justice, Constitutional Law, Criminal Procedure and any random 4 UL courses. I’ve already taken the three criminal justice courses at my local community college just retaking them at UMPI for 12 credits in minor requirement. Has anyone had experience with these courses and can give me advise on the easiest 4 UL courses UMPI has to offer? They can be literally anything at all. Also I apologize if this is formatted weirdly I’m on my phone.

AFAIK, you can ask which ones are exams, instead of papers/projects, and those are usually the fastest/easiest to complete.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Easiest is very subjective. There are courses I found extremely easy that I know many others struggled with and vice versa. Your best bet is to ask you academic advisor what your options are based on subjects you're interested in. Ask what the Final Assessment is. Some are more challenging than others. Exams are not necessarily easier than papers. Some classes have difficult exams because the material is difficult for lots of folks who don't have much experience or knowledge in the specific subject.....Financial Management is like that. Difficult exam and a LOT of course content. It's a challenging class unless you have knowledge and experience in the Financial Management. Lots of people have struggled with this course. It has an exam that is long and difficult. Exams are definitely not always easier.

You are right, for me personally I don’t necessarily think either final assessment would be too difficult but I know I would prefer an exam over a paper. I’ll save those for the end and hopefully have enough motivation to finish that it won’t even matter. As far as the GEC courses go did you take composition II or either of the creative writing/decision making classes and how were they if you did?

This will be a great help, I’d rather take 4 exams than write one paper haha.

I took English Comp 2 at UMPI. I found it to be very easy and finished it in 3 days. The decision making class from what I'm told is also very easy and can be completed in a few days.

Great. I’ll probably start with those two classes and then move onto the 3 that I’ve already taken before and be halfway done within the first 2 weeks of the session if all goes well. I can’t wait

Creative and Critical Thinking and Constitutional Law are both pretty easy. I got through Con Law more quickly, but both, in my experience, can be done in a couple-few days.
