HELP! StraighterLine College Composition Course

I need some help. I am trying to decide if I need to do the StraighterLine College Composition class. Has anyone taken it? If so did it actually improve your writing skills?

I took it in the 6 month format before they started offering the $99 deal and when it was transcripted by Fr Hays and they didn't have any review procedure so even with my protest of deducted points I was completely ignored by the advisor which costed me the A, I got a high B, 89%.

It improved my writing skills but I put a lot of effort on it and as I said before, I took the 6 month version of the class. I used a lot of external tutoring and did and redid my papers several times. It was a big help as my writing skills improved dramatically and now writing grad level papers doesn't seem that bad.

Writing skills are very important so I do not recommend taking this class in the 28 day format. First of all, you probably won't finish it in 28 days and if you do, your writing skills probably wont experience a major change.
