Graduation announcements ?

Hello All-

I am planning on sending out the little card to a select few. My last 3 credit class ends May 22. TESC needs to post credits for 2 TECEPs already taken, and LAST EXAM is Sec Analysis on Thur. The question is, is it acceptable to send out announcement after completing requirements, or does protocol demand waiting for Sept 1st graduation?........of course, I've never been one for rules- AND since I started in 1973- I am sending them out at the end of this month. I am just curious about tradition.

I was told at my highschool graduation that 6 weeks before the event is a minimum. You can never give your family too much notice though!
