I'm hosting a meet-up style graduation party this year around commencement time. This would be central Maryland DC/Baltimore area (Maybe Dave & Busters) for all of us crazy distance learners. I thought of this because even though my school is mostly distance, folks are mostly in that area (go figure, University of Maryland, U.C.
Anyway, considering that I've now done as much school work through DSST as through my current school..... the invite is open to you my degreeforum classmates as well.
If you'd like to be put on the invite list post here or PM me.

TESC has commencement in Oct. every year for anyone who graduated the previos Dec-Sep. I went in 2008 for my AA and 2010 for my BA. Nice ceremony it is up in a pod cast on thier site. Usually about 400 graduates attend and it is a great day. You get to wear a Cap & Gown and walk across the stage and say your name.
Edit: The party sounds great, but I won't graduate this year

Yes, and Yes!
The ceremony was once a year in October. Last year October 2010:

It seems they've now added a second date - Spring ceremony in April. See the link...there is a photo of Class of 2010 on the left!

Sweet.
I'll post specifics as the time gets closer (Mid April-ish). TESC / EC / COSC / UMUC / School of Hard Knocks.... All will be welcome.
Currently I'm targeting May 14th @ Dave & Busters, grown up arcade with bowling alley and pool tables and good food, in Hanover, MD. Suggestions are welcome!
