I'm excited because I found out I am starting the Rio Salado College (in AZ) Post-Baccalaureate Secondary Teacher Cert program for this month!
Even though my B.A. won't be done until the end of the year I received permission to start the program and I'm enrolled in my first two seminars. I was also told I "would have no problem with an online program since I am currently finishing one up" (TESC).
Between two programs and a newborn, I don't think I'm ever going to sleep hilarious
Just wanted to share because I'm so excited!

Great news! Congratulations! I'd say more--but I first want to make sure that your screen name does not mean that you are a New England Patriots fan. Does it?
Yours truly,
Michael

Michael-
I am a Pats fan! lol And the screen name does double duty since it's my Husband's name

I'm still so excited and can't wait to be in my own classroom. Then I get to tackle my M.A.

(but that will take a bit, I'm planning on taking a class at a time so I can do well).

My wife took most of that program and received her certification. It was a good program. They have joint programs where much of the certification courses can apply to a masters.
Best Wishes.

Thanks!
I was thinking of doing one of the M.Ed. programs (the one at Plymouth) because of how convenient they make it. I'm still looking at my M.A. in English from a few different places, but an M.Ed. would help, too.
