Google Cloud Data Analytics- UL credits for TESU
#1
I recently completed the Google Cloud Data Analytics certificate on Coursera and wanted to let everyone know how it transferred over to TESU. I received credit for CIS-3110, CLD-4300, and CYB-4500.

I'm currently in the Computer Information Systems program and CIS-3110 filled my last AOS elective spot, the other two did not apply. I've played around with some of the other degree plans and it looks like CIS-3110 and CLD-4300 work as AOS Electives for the Computer Science program and CYB-4500 filled the Cloud Computing requirement for the Information Technology program. I would double check these with advising though.

I know UL credit for these programs can sometimes be hard to find and I haven't seen any posts on the Google Cloud certificates yet. Hopefully this is useful for someone else in the future as well. Smile

Darn, I thought I read this as Google Data Analytics... I'll have to get the Cloud one too! There was another post with the two new options, I'll have to dig it up and see what credits are available. I recall it was $29 or $39 monthly fee for Coursera for these two Google certs... Not a bad investment for a few credits through ACE that can be applied to a degree...

Hmm... You wouldn't happen to have some time on your hands to create a WIKI for this degree, would you? <grin>

I actually asked how this would transfer in, the answer I got was:

CYB-1200 Introduction to Cybersecurity (3 credits)
CYB-1999 Special Topics in Information Technology (3 credits)
CYB-4210 Cybersecurity Risk Analysis & Mgmt (3 credits)

This is valuable information. Thanks for sharing! Did you check it against TESU BS Data Science and Analytics degree requirements?

Looks like we are still missing Advanced Data Analytics Professional, Business Intelligence Professional, Cybersecurity Professional, and IT Automation with Python.

If someone wants to ask TESU advising on how these would currently transfer in, that would be helpful.
