That is a great idea, going for either the Excelsior BSLA with a bunch of IT courses thrown in for good measure or the BSIT at Purdue Global, I wonder if these would all go into a basic/generic IT degree there or not... These could be used for the AAS at Pierpont for those starting off as well...

Update: The Data Analytics Pro Cert is using R Programming and not Python. So it'll be even more awesome, you can learn both instead of just one or the other! Great deal!
To add to that, the 2 data-focused IBM courses I posted about include Python-based courses for data analysis, so someone could pursue one or both of the IBM courses along with the Google course to get a more well-rounded education on the topic.

Data Analytics 12 credits
Project Management 9 credits(6UL)
UX Design 10 credits(3 UL)
These of course join the popular IT Support Professional cert which is recommended for 12 credits and already offered as part of the curriculum at many colleges. Sadly the IT Automation with Python cert is not on that list. Some of those courses cover some potentially useful niches and those UL credits might be very useful to some!
Do you believe that this can be used in a computer science degree?

For TESU, there are huge question marks all over everything. Looking at the breakdown of credits, the UX and analytics certificates have a number of credits that could count toward a CS degree. Project management does not. But will TESU bring in the ones that do as CS courses and, if so, how many credits do you get?
Even if you only get 3 credits, it's maybe $40-80 for each one (assuming it takes you 1 or 2 months to complete each certificate). That's not bad. Cheaper than SDC. IMO, it's worth it to at least attempt transferring them in.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Probably only one course is worthy for transfer, it's the UL UX Design course, the rest are pretty much available elsewhere for cheap. These certificates are great for entry, I would get them even though they're not made specifically for transfer into a CS degree, I would get them for the learning experience and knowledge gained.

If I already have the cert then do I NOT get ACE credit?

Depends when you completed it. Also, try reaching out to someone. If you completed it before the cutoff date, maybe you can redo the last course to get credit?

Ouch, that's a tough call, I would email Google and see what they can do, as they're the ones who issue the request for certificate/credly credits. Email them and say you completed it two months before they got the ACE credit recommendation, and ask if there were any minor changes to the course content, and if you can make up for those to get the "ACE & credly credit".

A word of caution to anyone who is looking to use these for college credits.
I've completed the "Google Project Management Certificate", and received a useless Credly badge.
There are two variants on credly.com:
- https://www.credly.com/org/coursera/badg...tificate.1
The first one has the ACE endorsement, and the second does not. Because of this, PUG did not give me any credits for it. I've tried contacting Coursera support, but they've just gaslighted me.
